St. Reginald Parish, Bachelor

Producer  St. Reginald Parish
Wine Region
Willamette Valley
Varietal Pinot Gris

Skin contact though it looks like a light red in your glass, this tricky and playful “orange” wine is like sucking on a watermelon jolly rancher  after an ocean swim. Hence the cheeky name?

But wait, it opens up and gets serious though. While the wine goes under carbonic maceration, it also spends 11 months in barrel, giving the wine a smoky citrus sensation and the wine as whole more gravitas.
